In my opinion, the best thing about moving into a new house has to be that you have a whole new playground that you get to "decorate".
We recently bought a new house: A bigger house with a proper yard and an amazing ocean view. We love our current house. It's modern, warm, comfortable, and it was our first house as a family. But now that we bought this new big house, we can't wait to move in. Unfortunately, we have to wait for another 4 months until we can! It is a long time for an impatient person like myself. What can we do, though..... So I have already been planning, decorating, designing.
One of the many things that I want to do for the new house is to make a guest room special. We didn't have a proper guest room in our old house. With many possibilities that we have, there is one solid guide for me. My Mom asked me to have 2 twin beds for the room in case that they visit. I thought it was ridiculous at first, but more I thought about it, it seemed like a good idea. Why not. It won't be always a couple visiting us. Well, maybe not always young couples. So we are going to have two single beds. And I like to decorate accordingly. I am thinking of putting a frame each above the beds. With just types.
I think what goes inside of those frames will change all the times as whatever I feel like at the moments, but for the first set of frames, I want to have a phrase, two words, side by side. First time when Kevin heard my idea and the phrase/quote, he wasn't sure, but now he is more in board with me for this one.
I can't wait to actually print these and frame them up. But for now, this is as close as I can get. Just picturing them in my computer.
