I got so excited to see a package sitting by the door when I came home after my morning errands.
A package from an indoor gardener. As I mentioned in the earlier post, I was having hard time finding indoor plants that I like, and it got specially hard ever since I had laid my eyes on "fiddler leaf fig". When I was looking for the right plants for me, I kept seeing a certain type of indoor plants that I like. And with a bit of help, I found the plant that I keep seeing is called fiddler leaf fig and this is a very popular indoor tree yet very hard to find in New Zealand. I went to a few garden stores near by and they all gave me similar answers. I even pre ordered one at a garden place hoping that they would find me one in the future, but they sounded very skeptical.
But when I went to an indoor plant website to see how to take care of one of my existing plants, I saw a new small fiddler added on her site. Oh boy, I was so happy, and contacted her immediately.
The plant that I got through the website was delivered heavily damaged, not because of the gardener's fault, only because of a rude courier service. But the owner, Jasmine guided me how to save the plant and it has come back to thrive again.
You see the amazing transformation, right? I am so happy to see this plant is doing so much better. I even showed it to Jasmine, and she was as enthusiastic as I was about the improvement.
With even more careful packing and 20 warning labels that Jasmine put on the package, the "The Fiddler Mini" has arrived in a perfect condition.
And I got a beautiful mister from her as well. I am determined to keep these plants healthy and happy. They make me happy.
You see my "artificial green" in the background of the first pair of pictures, right? :-)
